As a Healthcare CSR, you will assist with scheduling appointments, explaining insurance coverage, processing claims inquiries, and guiding patients through various healthcare services.
Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, addressing inquiries related to services, insurance coverage, billing, and claims.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including coordinating any necessary pre-appointment paperwork or procedures.
Assist patients in understanding their healthcare plans, explaining benefits, coverage options, and policy details.
Answer questions regarding the status of claims, payments, and insurance authorization.
Resolve patient complaints, concerns, and issues in a professional, empathetic, and efficient manner.
Process new patient registrations and update existing patient records accurately in the system.
Work closely with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding patient care.
Maintain knowledge of healthcare policies, insurance plans, and government regulations (e.g., HIPAA) to provide accurate and compliant assistance.
Document all patient interactions, including inquiries, concerns, and resolutions, in the customer service management system.
Assist with follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and address any additional questions.
Provide support for administrative tasks, such as verifying insurance coverage, sending billing statements, and resolving discrepancies.
Assist in patient education by providing information on healthcare services, preventive care, and billing inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Language: Very good English skills. B2+ or higher is preferred.

Schedule: Must be flexible and is willing to be assigned in any shift. Work schedule will follow the American Calendar.
