The candidate for this position will be a member of the Aerospace and Defense Test Business Development team. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in understanding customers’ test applications and work with key groups to develop, propose, and deliver unique solutions. This position can reside anywhere in the US but candidates must be based near a major international airport. Travel of up to 50% will be required in this role.
Your tasks
Presales support of RF test and measurement solutions.
Support satellite payload, ground station, and user terminal equipment test applications.
Support sales and business development efforts with technology applications like NTN.
Support and consulting of customer test applications and automation tasks.
Provide technical feedback to business units to aid in the development of product features and capabilities.
Coach and mentor local applications engineers on Satellite and other ADT systems applications.
Train local applications and sales teams on emerging technologies in the ADT space.
Your Qualifications
BSEE (or equivalent) with at least 5 years' experience in RF. Candidates without an engineering degree will not be considered.
Experience developing test systems that include Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators and Vector Network Analyzers Oscilloscopes.
Understanding of satellite air interface requirements and satellite modulation schemes
Experience testing satellite payload, ground station and user terminal equipment.
5G/6G and NTN experience
In depth understanding of fading channel simulation.
High Density spectrum/environment generation and simulation experience
In depth knowledge of HIL/SIL requirements in the EW space
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% nationally and occasional international travel
Previous experience with R&S and competitor test equipment is a plus

The total compensation for this position is $110K-$200K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
