Job description

Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle Management profiles, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager for a global leader active in the distribution of advanced technology products and solutions for network, electrical and security infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will support the company growth in the Dutch market and will be responsible for expanding the business within the OEM Sector.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and Execute Growth Strategies


  • Identify new business opportunities within the Dutch OEM market.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Position the company preferred partner for OEM customers.


Account & Relationship Management


  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with OEM clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage existing accounts while prospecting and acquiring new customers.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to support their business objectives.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance Wesco’s market positioning in the OEM segment.


Collaboration & Internal Coordination


  • Work closely with product management, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless customer engagement.
  • Align sales activities with corporate objectives and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to optimize service delivery.



Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales role, preferably within the distribution and supply of electrical, network and security infrastructure solutions sector.
  • Proven track record of developing business within the OEM channel.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial distribution, supply chain solutions, and technical sales.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive market expansion.
