GCP Cloud Engineer

Revolgy is growing its cloud engineering team and we are looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer to join us!

You'll design, build and maintain resilient, cloud-native distributed systems. You'll be deploying from scratch as well as migrating existing environments to the public cloud, working closely with clients to ensure the solutions are robust, scalable and cost-efficient.

Location 🌍 Remote position open to candidates in Europe.

What Will You Do? 🔧

• Evaluate customer infrastructures and craft tailored GCP solutions that maximize scalability, cost efficiency and resilience.
• Develop and enhance infrastructure using containerization and Terraform-based GCP stacks, keeping automation in mind.
• Plan and execute seamless workload migrations, offering expert advice and mentoring technical teams.
• Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs, document solutions clearly and build trust.
• Experiment with and implement emerging technologies, sharing insights and mentoring junior engineers along the way.
• Leverage the fully-funded learning time to earn certifications and stay up-to-date on cloud technologies and best practices.

What You Bring 🎯

• 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including networking, IAM, databases, virtual machines, containers and serverless tech.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks and software development best practices.
• Hands-on skills in containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Terraform on GCP.
• Track record of designing infrastructures for scalability, cost-efficiency and resilience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Self-driven, highly organized and adept at managing multiple tasks.
• Proficient in English (B2+ spoken and written).
• Committed to continuous improvement, resilient and comfortable taking initiative.
