We have secured funding and are on the verge of closing our first major contract, which will enable us to expand the team and raise further capital.

Job Description:

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will be a core member of our founding team, helping shape the development of our product and platform. We are looking for someone who thrives in the details, is eager to learn and tackle new challenges, and has a strong affinity for modern technologies. Your impact will be directly felt across the business, as you will have significant ownership of our backend systems, development processes, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for our subscription billing platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Apply Domain Driven Design principles to build modular, clean, and effective backend solutions.
• Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and the founding team to deliver features that drive business impact.
• Contribute to architecture and system design discussions, offering insights and improving current processes.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code in TypeScript and NestJS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the backend stack, with a focus on performance and security.
• Participate in the agile development process, collaborating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Software Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in TypeScript and NestJS.
• Deep understanding of Domain Driven Design and experience applying these principles in a production environment.
• Solid experience in the FinTech or traditional banking domain, with knowledge of industry-specific challenges and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects within a small, high-performing team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating high-quality software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to changing needs and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
