Key Account Director:
To be the key point of contact for the client. To identify and manage opportunities for further business through existing client accounts and to win new accounts whilst demonstrating strong business acumen and growth approach to SGS & Co’s business.
Responsibilities:
To provide superior service to the business by:
- Taking overall responsibility for the team and client on a day-to-day basis. Providing guidance and direction.
- When necessary, recruiting new staff members and continuously developing existing staff through guidance, assistance and support ensuring they are motivated and empowered at all times.
- Develop communication and promotional strategies for the client/s.
- Demonstrating strategic insight and a thorough understanding of the client’s market and the consumer.
- Developing solid relationships with key personnel on the client side.
- Outstanding insight and understanding of all areas of the marketing mix.
- Anticipating and developing the client relationship through innovation and strategic insight in order to always exceed client’s expectations.
- Making sure that the quality of account handling is kept at an all time high.
- Developing the account’s business plan together with more senior members of the team.
- Ensuring continual monitoring, analysis and review of all activities related to the account.
- Taking overall responsibility for achieving financial goals whilst ensuring all team members are aware of targets and follow all financial procedures.
- Being responsible for forecasting the account team’s revenue and profitability and also assisting in the negotiation remuneration.
- Ensuring forecasts, client business plans and budgets are prepared in a timely manner.
- Providing the Senior Team with financial reports.
- Anticipating problems before they arise, being solutions focused.
- Taking overall responsibility for the maintenance of job bags, billing clients, managing WIP.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Specification & Skills:
An individual who has…
- Excellent leadership, demonstrated influencing and delegation skills
- Medal Decorating and/or Dry offset printing experience
- 5+ years of experience
- CPG beverage industry experience
- A proactive approach, good project management skills and a commitment to achieving results
- Excellent commercial acumen with solid business development and strong financial management skills
- Excellent communication skills and listening skills
- High level of professionalism
- High level of tenacity
- Great presentation skills
Internal & External Communications:
This person will have frequent contact with:
- Client, to ensure the client is provided with a superior level of service at all times through outstanding account handling preformed within time and budget and also to identify and develop potential new business opportunities as they arise.
- Creative Department, to ensure excellent relationships, clear communication and that processes are followed and maintained between the account team and the creative department.
- Finance, in order to manage the team’s adherence to SGS & Co’s financial processes and procedures.
- The Senior Team, to keep them up to date and provide any information required.
- HR, to manage the assigned account team effectively.
Development Opportunities:
There is a strong focus on learning and development at SGS & Co and support and training will be provided when deemed necessary in order to facilitate personal growth and development.
This is a remote position in the Missouri. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $115,248 - $153,664 annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
