The Senior Account Executive is a pivotal role within the sales team. The role involves managing key client relationships, driving business development, and contributing to the company's growth by leveraging technical knowledge and sales acumen.

A Senior Account Executive should possess a blend of educational qualifications, substantial sales and account-management experience, and technical knowledge relevant to the industry. Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset are crucial for success in managing key client relationships, driving business development, and contributing to the company’s growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the prospecting and generation of leads for new business opportunities through advanced techniques such as email campaigns, social media outreach, and professional networking.
  • Strategically identify, pursue, and close high-value business opportunities that align with KiZAN’s services portfolio, effectively communicating KiZAN’s value proposition to potential customers and partner channels.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and significantly expand market presence.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to thoroughly understand customer needs, challenges, and goals, and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Build and sustain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for Microsoft technology and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Expertly negotiate and close contracts and agreements with key business decision makers and influencers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional service and support, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and ensuring timely contract renewals.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure comprehensive success and satisfaction for clients.
  • Stay continuously updated on Microsoft product advancements, industry trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that effectively communicate value and drive business growth.
  • Provide accurate and insightful sales forecasts, pipeline management, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and objectives, demonstrating a high level of performance and commitment.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum education: High School Degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years selling experience in the IT space (familiarity with Microsoft and managed services is desirable).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in online meeting and collaboration tools such as Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions.
  • Solid understanding and successful history deploying a high-activity-based model.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Superior track record in previous sales positions in a multi-service organization.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently/self-reliant and show initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply appropriately to business situations.
  • Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced team atmosphere.
  • Ability to work under pressure; meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to listen effectively and seek clarification.
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 75% of time.


Preferred skills and abilities:

  • Deep understanding of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, handling objections, and closing.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Ability to identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels (networking, referrals, cold calling).
  • Experience in mentoring junior sales team members and sharing best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support.
