Responsible for administering and implementing the CPS risk management program, as well as assisting in corporate governance functions, with some administrative duties for the Legal and Compliance function.
Objectives
Professional Indemnity and General Liability insurance for CPS and non-employee related insurance in the Americas.
Non-litigated claims handling and assistance
Risk avoidance or mitigation through risk management advice to business colleagues
Reporting of risk management related activity
Assistance with Contract Management System
Review of contracts, including NDA agreements
Assisting with Corporate Governance duties
Major Roles & Responsibilities
Insurance
Administration and management of the CPS professional liability and general liability insurance program for the CPS division.
Manages PI insurance in the US that is inclusive of other US based BV entities and manages property, casualty, crime, fiduciary and group travel accident insurance coverage for CPS in the Americas.
Key contract with broker for certificates of insurance and insurance questions
Claims
Act as one of the primary points of contact for claims, or risks of claims, (a) arising in the Americas or (b) claims risks arising elsewhere in CPS globally that may require notification and handling.
Receive subpoenas for CPS US and coordinates the processing of subpoenas and required documents directly with CPS’ network of outside legal counsel resources.
Works with outside legal counsel and General Counsel for litigation of large lawsuits. Responsible for document holds, assembly of documents, supporting analysis of facts of the case as required, IT searches, coordination of depositions, and updates.
Works with business colleagues in assessment of non-litigated claims and customer complaints to develop communication plan and strategy in coordination with General Counsel.
Risk Management
Acts as an advisor to Program Managers, Operations, Technical Services, Key Account Managers and other functions in the US for client inquiries, risk assessments, NDAs, significant complaints, internal processes, etc. that may have risk management implications.
Reporting
Responsible for maintaining contract files for the Americas CPS clients.
Provide monthly and quarterly summaries to CPS and BV HO on incidents, claims, and claim payments.
Track attorneys’ fees.
Help to manage the Contract Management System
Corporate Governance
Preparing and maintaining corporate records, including by-laws, resolutions, minutes.
Assisting with corporate filings
Assisting with due diligence tasks for suppliers and business partners

Experience And Educational Background Required For The Job
Bachelors degree in a related field required
7-10 years of experience regarding management of Claims and Insurance and contract review
Preferred to have experience in corporate governance activities, such a drafting resolution, board minutes and corporate filings.
Compensation Range: $80,000-$100,000 base pay annually (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset)
