We're seeking an experienced Utility Account Manager to drive growth in our utility services group. You'll manage key utility accounts, develop strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence while ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern US to fulfill the requirements of the role.
JOB DUTIES:
- Drive strategic account growth and revenue targets through comprehensive account management
- Build and nurture relationships with utility executives, decision-makers, and industry partners
- Foster collaboration between product, sales, and customer success teams
- Lead proposal development and contract negotiations for utility clients
- Represent Account Management's priorities in product development initiatives
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
- Champion process improvements and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead strategic initiatives that expand Resideo's market presence
- Represent Resideo at industry events and conferences
MUST HAVES:
- 5+ years of account management experience in the utilities sector
- Proven track record of building long-term client relationships and achieving sales targets
- Sound understanding of utility operations, demand response programs, and virtual power plants
- Experience with SaaS/IoT platform sales
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel for customer/internal meetings as needed

Hiring Salary Range : The typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $115,933 to $172,959.9 per year but varies by specific work location. For example, the hiring salary for this role in Melville, NY is $139,120 to $207,552 per year and New York City, NY is $144,917 to $216,200.1. Within a range, Resideo determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.
Incentive Eligible (SIP) : This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 20% of your annual salary, and prorated based on hire date. Attaining your sales target qualifies you for 100% of your annual sales incentive, while surpassing sales targets during the performance period enables you to earn additional incentive pay.
