The Role:

Revecore is seeking an experienced Data Science Product Director to drive the vision, strategy and execution of our artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies, as well as a strong background in product management with data science projects, an understanding of data relevant to the healthcare revenue cycle industry, and knowledge of revenue integrity and complex claims solutions. As the central leadership point of contract for AI/ML initiatives, this person will be responsible for maintaining a cohesive strategy and roadmap, creating executive summaries/board presentations, managing resources and budgets, and collaborating across functional groups to drive progress towards established goals. Importantly, this role will need to work collaboratively with other leaders on the business teams to ensure benefit is achieved from key initiatives.

Duties And Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a cohesive strategy and roadmap for AI/ML initiatives, from ideation to prioritization and implementation, in alignment with overall company objectives and goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering and business units, to ensure successful delivery of value from AI/ML initiatives
Oversee all Data Science projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders. Track and report performance of AI/ML initiatives using data-driven insights against established success criteria aligned with business leaders to inform status, drive continuous improvement and decision making.
Evaluate and manage risks associated with AL/ML projects, including becoming uniquely familiar with the data and technical approaches used, and develop mitigation strategies as needed. This role is the point of escalation and responsible leader for resolving initiative issues, ultimately responsible for their success against their plan.
Monitor and analyze AI/ML industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for potential opportunities and improvements for initiatives, solutions and technical approaches
Work with senior leadership to establish and manage budgets, resources and timelines for AI/ML initiatives to maximize business impact
Create and expand the high-performing data science product team, including mentorship, education and performance evaluations

Skills And Experience

Bachelor or Masters/Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration or related field
5+ years of experience leading product organizations focused on data science initiatives at the Director level or above
Direct experience in the healthcare sector, preferably revenue cycle or coding related
Proven track record and ability to deliver large-scale, data intensive, complex projects in a fast-paced environment leveraging data science solutions
Contemporary knowledge of AI/ML techniques and applications, including classification, recommender systems, natural language processing, understanding and generation, A/B testing and automation
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, technologies and related tools and platforms, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
