Job description

Environmental credentialing is becoming generally accepted as the low carbon marketplace develops. ResourceWise is committed to developing solutions for our customers to meet the requirements set forth by environmental regulations such as the European Union Deforestation-free Regulation (EUDR), the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2), Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and other similar legal obligations.


The successful candidate will be responsible for handling confidential data submissions from clients regarding EUDR compliance. While following company standards, they will use a variety of tools to manage the process. This person will directly interact with customers for onboarding data, monitor data integrity, inquire with clients on errors in data, and develop processes for analyzing data more efficiently and error-free.


Job Duties

  • Interact with customers to understand individual wood fiber supply chains and onboard data related to EUDR compliance and other transaction level data
  • Works with customers and data providers to ensure timely handling of data submissions and reporting deadlines
  • Maintains organization, quality, and translation of data in standards set by the company using tools such as SAS, Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic Macros
  • Solid time-management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks and projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well independently and interact frequently with the Operations team
  • Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to work closely with stakeholders on a variety of projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to consult with customers to understand project needs.


Job Requirements

  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, power query, macros)
  • Statistics or other applied mathematics, econometric knowledge a plus but not required
  • Data Entry and Handling experience
  • Established organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Must always maintain confidentiality with customer specific information
  • Ability to present and manipulate data in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word


Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in the forest products supply chain (e.g., procurement) or familiarity with supply chain management processes
  • Aptitude for data organization, statistics, mathematics, or finance
  • Ability to operate in a deadline driven environment
  • Lead development of efficient data handling processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Background in the forest industry preferred
