NSF is a growing global public health and safety organization. We do so by developing standards, testing, auditing, certifying, and providing advisory services to clients in the food, water, health sciences and consumer industries.
To further strengthen and expand our sales department in North America, we are currently looking for a Senior Territory Account Executive specializing in Information Security. In this role, you will generate sales, develop sales pipelines, and mentor junior team members across the United States for our management systems certification services in information security.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales and develop sales pipelines withing a designated geography and/or targeted program
- Develop and grow customers to strategic account status
- Meet or exceed senior sales KPIs
- Collaborate with other business units to deliver and complete strategic projects, contributing to product and service development
- Develop and execute long-term sales plans and forecasts for the territory/program, analyzing local market needs and expectations while collaborating with marketing to build and execute a targeted strategy
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within the territory/program
- Build and maintain strong C-level customer relationships beyond quality assurance to expand business offerings
- Coach and mentor junior Territory Account Executives to enhance team performance and achieve sales targets
Qualifications
- A four-year degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience is required, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing key accounts in the information security industry
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge and experience in territory management and account planning within targeted region/program
- Expertise in selling a diverse product portfolio, proficient in CRM tools and systems (preferably Salesforce).
- Direct selling experience with responsibility for meeting quotas
- Ability to manage forecast accuracy on a regular basis
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- A strong understanding of information security standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, CMMC, ISO 20000, and NIST
- Willingness to travel is essential
- Experience in mentoring or coaching junior sales team members is a plus
- Knowledge of the TIC industry is preferred
Salary Range: $74,000 - $125,000
The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At NSF, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
