Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for Business Development Associate. This is our core role on the Business Development Group (BDG) Team. As a Business Development Associate, you'll play a crucial role in managing inbound leads and nurturing them through the qualification process, helping to connect potential clients with the right technology solutions to transform their business. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our prospects, guiding them through the early stages of their journey with Applied Systems. What You’ll Need To Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work Hybrid from one of our Applied Systems office’s: Chicago, Lincoln, and Dallas-Fort Worth

Your experience should include some or all the following:

  • At least 1 year of lead generation experience; will consider entry-level graduates with strong internship / related experience
  • Desire to advance career in Business Development and advance to an Inside Sales role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially over the phone
  • High energy, self-motivated individual that can thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple inbound leads simultaneously.
  • Previous sales or marketing experience desired
  • Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing; or equivalent work experience
