Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Focus: Deliver a personalised and customer-centric approach to build strong, lasting relationships with national and key account personnel.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with field-based teams to maximise customer opportunities and enhance profitability.
  • Business Development: Expand the main dealer portfolio by sourcing, acquiring, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strategic Relationships: Establish productive, professional relationships with board-level and senior operational personnel in target accounts.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use business data to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and drive growth.
  • Competitor Awareness: Track and analyse competitor activity to keep the team informed of promotions and trends.
  • Account Management: Manage pricing terms, rebates, and contract negotiations to ensure fair profit margins and strategic account success.
  • Goal-Oriented: Meet sales volume targets and strategic objectives while balancing key business metrics and KPIs.

Skills And Experience

  • A proven track record in acquiring and developing new and existing business accounts.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage with board-level executives.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset to solve commercial challenges and identify opportunities.
