About Us – Join Our Mission to Fight Climate Change as a Technical Lead

Do you want to be part of one of Europe’s fastest-growing climate tech startups? We are seeking a passionate Technical Lead to help transform every company into a sustainable business, with critical responsibility and influence on our product and overall venture development.

We have recently secured €6.5 million in Series A funding, led by Kvanted and ENV, with contributions from NewAlpha Asset Management and several business angels. Our Climate ERP solution is trusted by leaders like Maersk, Nippon Express Europe (NX Group), and DMG MORI, streamlining corporate emission management and reduction. This funding allows us to expand and enhance our platform, integrating sustainability into business operations.

Location: This position is fully remote but must be based in one of our Hub locations in Berlin, Munich, Bonn/Cologne, Lisbon, London

Your Mission

As we prepare to launch our next product squad, we are seeking a passionate Technical Lead to drive innovation and guide a team toward creating sustainable solutions. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to combat the global climate crisis, shaping the technical direction and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

What You’ll Do

Set Technical Direction:

  • Define project specifications and establish a technical roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Enforce technical standards and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality development.
  • Contribute hands-on to coding and code reviews.

Drive Product Innovation

  • Lead product strategy through design meetings and technical discussions.
  • Oversee architectural decisions and drive process improvements for greater efficiency.

Leadership

  • Lead by example, mentoring and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Develop documentation to enhance team productivity and play a key role in attracting and nurturing top engineering talent.

Who You Are

  • Approximately 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, Software Architect, or Senior Engineer.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed, strategic decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for various stakeholders.
  • A passion for innovation, sustainability, and creating impactful solutions to global challenges.
  • Ability to work with a senior leadership team, taking ownership of strategic decisions and leading your team confidently under ambiguity.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills (German is a plus).
