At SquaredUp, we're passionate about making complex technical concepts understandable and our user journeys frictionless. Our Content team plays a vital role in achieving this by transforming technical jargon into engaging stories that resonate with our audience.

One of our team members is taking a sabbatical, and we are seeking a temporary replacement to cover their responsibilities for 6 months. As a Content Writer, you'll be a wordsmith extraordinaire, weaving magic with your keyboard to craft compelling marketing copy across various channels – from blog posts and case studies to landing pages and sales enablement content. You'll also be a guardian of our brand voice, ensuring consistency across all our properties.

But that's not all! You'll collaborate closely with our Marketing, Design, and Web teams, taking ownership of the entire content production pipeline – from messaging to project management.

Here's a glimpse into what your day-to-day might look like:

Write engaging marketing copy that captivates our audience (think blog posts, case studies, landing pages, and sales enablement content).
Become a pro at proofreading and copyediting – social media posts, ads, emails, technical blogs, and web copy are all in your domain.
Own the content creation process – manage the messaging and production pipeline, collaborating with internal subject matter experts and external sources.
Liaise with our design team to ensure visual assets complement your stellar content.
Upload and manage content on our website, keeping things organized and user-friendly.
Be the voice of SquaredUp – Uphold our brand voice and ensure messaging consistency across all platforms.
Embrace the future of content creation – be an AI champion, exploring how AI can enhance our content strategy.

We're looking for someone who:

Has a knack for writing – both short-form and long-form content that is engaging and informative.
Has a keen eye for detail – typos and inconsistencies won't stand a chance with you around.
Thrives in collaboration – you'll be working closely with various teams to create magic.
Is self-motivated and organized – you'll manage your own workflow and projects efficiently.
Is a curious learner – staying ahead of the curve and embracing new trends is key.
Is a tech whiz – proficiency with modern CMS and project management tools is a must.

Bonus points if you have:

A degree in English, journalism, communications, or a similar field.
Experience with Atlassian Jira for task management.
Experience with Sanity content management system.
