Context For The Role

As Ardonagh’s international business continues to expand, the intention is to further strengthen the international tax governance and controls. This involves improving the group tax reporting process by implementing a newly developed local tax provisioning pack and associated group tax reconciliation.

While it allows us to enhance the quality of our consolidated tax information (for BAU external reporting purposes), using the same templates, it also ensures that real-time data can be gathered for group tax compliance e.g. controlled foreign corporations, country-by-country and Pillar 2 reporting purposes.

Purpose Of The Role

This role will report to the International Tax Controller.

The candidate will primarily support the coordination of the tax reporting process while performing first level preparation and review of certain local and group workpapers along with other best practice tasks (pre-YE trial run, ad hoc Pillar 2 and group tax analysis).

This will involve liaison internally with various group and local finance teams; and externally with our outsourced providers.

Essential

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified accountant
Experience in IFRS accounting
Experience in Group Tax reporting
Advanced Excel skills

Preferred

Background in tax accounting and reporting
Experience in use of Alteryx
Familiarity with Tagetik/D365 systems
Experience in tax systems implementation/data maintenance
