Basic Function: Work with the transformer factories across North America to manage and improve their planning and scheduling processes. Drive Training and Standardization in Sales and Operations planning, Master Planning, and detailed scheduling processes throughout the Hub organization.
Typical duties/responsibilities for Planning/S&OP Process Leader may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Tasks
Trains and coaches Demand Planners, Operations Planners, Master Schedule Planner and Material planner. Develops the overall competency of the organization. Contribute to group or division initiatives establishing standards and best practices.
Provide training as needed and assist in the development of standard process and best practices.
Monitor standard work execution of the factories. Develop and monitor dashboards, tracking schedule execution, load leveling, and capacity analysis.
Participate in factory S&OP meetings, helping to drive standardization and helping all contributors to comply with the requirements and actively participate.
Ensure information is collected timely and accurately. Arrange a good flow of information from the product review to demand review, to operations review. Check the consistency of all pieces of information used during the S&OP Processes.
Monitor KPIs related to the engagement and outcome of the S&OP Process. Work with all the contributors on improving the process, and make sure it is serving the priorities of the business.
Drive ITM throughout the organization. Assist in the training and development of strong RCCM analysis.
Requirements
Ten years manufacturing experience
Preferred ERP experience in PP module
Ability to work cross-functionally within a global value chain
Independent analysis/decision-making capabilities
Above average Microsoft excel skills
Strong communicator and teamwork oriented
Organized and exhibits a sense of urgency when necessary
Takes initiative to drive projects and lead others
Employs root cause analysis approach
Strong sense of customer focus and quality
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business or Engineering, minimum of 10 years of experience in similar role, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
