Our IT Procurement Senior Manager is an individual contributor responsible for: * Negotiating, building, maintaining, and improving relationships with 3rd party suppliers and vendors * Direct sourcing of hardware, software, and IT services * Ensuring vendors have clarity on Kelly’s partnership requirements and expectations * Working closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of goods and service offerings available via our partners
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Education: * 5 years of successful direct procurement experience in IT procurement of hardware, software, cyber security, and IT for services with strong skill in negotiation, developing, and maintaining key client and supplier relationships
* Strong business analytical skills, with ability to support recommendations with analytical justifications * Solid overall communication (both verbal and writing) including negotiation skills * Experience with identifying, calculating, and capturing cost savings opportunities * Understanding of budgeting processes to help groups establish annual P&L targets * Ability to think creatively, and to identify and sell innovative business solutions * Proven capability to successfully manage vendor relationships * Knowledge of leading industry practices and services in order to make viable recommendations * Ability to understand and impact contract / agreement terms and conditions, including Statement of Work (SOW) and IT as a service * Must live in EST, CST, or MST to be considered
