Position Summary & Key Responsibilities
Korn Ferry Senior Resource Coordinator (SRC) will join a growing and centrally managed global professional Resource Management function. SRCs will work closely with the Firm’s internal consulting population across our four solution areas: Assessment & Succession, Leadership Development, Strategy Execution and Rewards & Benefits, to resource our internal and CWF talent pools for client assignment and business development opportunities clients, optimizing resource deployment.

We are looking for a talented, innovative Resource Management professional with a background in finance who is used to working in a fast-paced, complex environment. There will be ambiguity and change, giving you a chance to show agility and leave your mark. As a Korn Ferry Senior Resource Coordinator (SRC) you will join a growing and centrally managed global professional Resource Management function and will work closely with the Firm’s consulting population. In this role, you will support a large population of independent contractors supporting our client deliveries worldwide. Helping ensure we provide them with the necessary system and financial support so they can help provide our clients with excellent products and services.
This role will require you to support the end-to-end contractor financial process both regionally and on a global basis, as well as partner with other groups within the Firm. The role requires a blend of complex customer service, with behind-the-scenes emotional intelligence, data savvy, and problem solving in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Helping ensure the smoothest possible experience for all users.
The SRC role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our purchase order process is maintained so that it works quickly and efficiently. In addition, the role will be key to providing technical and financial support for the contractors and other internal teams.
This role reports to a Resource Manager within NA.
Position Responsibilities
- Create, review, and manage purchase orders in the SAP system.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase order details.
- Monitor and track purchase order status and resolve any discrepancies.
- Implement and manage Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS) self-billing processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely generation of self-billing invoices.
- Provide financial support and guidance to independent contractors.
- Assist contractors with financial queries and issues related to the SAP-based UI.
- Ensure contractors are compliant with financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update the SAP purchase order system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT support.
- Implement system upgrades and enhancements as needed.
- Analyze financial data related to purchase orders and contractor payments.
- Generate and distribute regular financial reports to management.
- Identify trends and provide insights for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and external regulations.
- Prepare for and participate in financial audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Train contractors and internal employees on the use of the SAP system.
- Develop and update training materials and user guides.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to system users.
- Collaborate with resource management, finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Implement best practices for purchase order and financial management.
Ensuring Success
- Timing: Respond within 24 hrs. of the requests, or re-direct the request immediately
- Communication: Concise, business appropriate communication in both written and phone communications
- Learn – our business is continuously evolving – to be knowledgeable about the business context it is important to stay informed and educated
- Training: Identify and leverage appropriate opportunities in iAcademy; watch relevant know-it sessions, read relevant solution-related white papers, attend town hall calls.
- Feedback: Ask for feedback from your RM colleagues, managers and importantly, your consultants and client teams – seek a continuous improvement approach to learning and serving Korn Ferry. Offer general team feedback to the Resource Manager when appropriate.
- Development: Look for opportunities for development within the work environment (e.g., contributing to initiatives, asking questions about the work and the client, etc.) Look for and suggest potential team development opportunities.
- Ask: Escalate challenges, brainstorm alternatives, and ask for help as it presents an opportunity to learn.
Education, Experience, & Other Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional experience
- 2+ years of finance or related field experience, experience with contractors or single owner/individual vendor relations a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to work with international and diverse teams
- Ability to be adaptable and manage stress in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Ability to build and foster relationships with cross-functional and remote teams, at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Excel, and Access) especially Excel, including pivot table, VLOOKUP, and data analysis with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Knowledge of international financial regulations and compliance standards
- High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial transactions.
- Willingness to learn and implement new technologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Estimated hourly rate
28 USD
Salary range represents the compensation Korn Ferry expects to pay to a candidate with the requirements for the job posted. Korn Ferry offers competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
