Paid Time Off:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Informatics Sr. Analyst  (“Sr. Analyst”) is responsible for the overall quality of data input, validation, and maintenance in various systems. Data validation includes verifying that all standards are followed including required documentation. This role completes data analysis as the basis for subsequent conversions and onboarding; reviews reporting for contract mapping to enable accurate pricing and ordering; and manages system reporting taking appropriate action as needed. The Sr. Analyst will demonstrate sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

Work Schedule: This role is offered on a fully remote basis, allowing the Supply Chain Informatics Sr. Analyst to be based anywhere in the country. An onsite presence in Nashville to participate in annual planning meetings in addition to an annual offsite conference is anticipated.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data modeling using Tableau, Power BI, or similar software to “tell a story” for presentations.
  • Manage data tables in various systems.
  • Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors.
  • Understand and interpret basic financial data.
  • Adhere to Supply Chain Data mining strategy.
  • Uses project management skills in developing and implementing work plans for AMSURG facilities converting to an AMSURG purchasing
  • Develop tools to analyze usage data for savings opportunities.
  • Use current and future spend data to help build a sourcing project pipeline and develop overall cost reduction plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Information Security Policies and ensure that AMSURG remains as secure as possible.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required:

  • Expert level master data management.
  • Expert level data gathering and analysis.
  • Project management experience preferred.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University.
  • Three or more years’ experience in data supply chain management, or relevant field.
  • Five or more years’ experience in healthcare, hospital, ASC, or relevant field.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong customer relations skills.  Able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Detail oriented and organized.  High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.  Exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency.  Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings. Must pass a background check and drug screen.
