Solutions Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Distinguished Solutions Architect, a highly experienced professional with deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud-native solutions, and large-scale distributed systems. This role will drive strategic technical decisions, ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of mission-critical solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead enterprise-wide architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term scalability.

• Design and oversee the implementation of highly complex, large-scale distributed architectures for cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.

• Collaborate closely with C-level executives, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders to drive technology innovation and enterprise transformation.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to multiple engineering teams, setting best practices for architecture, development, and operations.

• Lead governance, security, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Define best practices for microservices, event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pulsar, or equivalent), API management, and data-intensive applications.

• Guide the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI/ML architectures, Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Digital Twins.

• Drive the evolution of cloud-native strategies, optimizing performance and cost across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

• Establish and enforce Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and observability best practices (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

• Act as a trusted advisor for clients and executives, helping shape strategic decisions on technology investments and digital transformation.

• Represent Radix at global industry events, technical conferences, and high-impact client engagements.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or cloud infrastructure, designing and implementing mission-critical systems.

• Advanced or Fluent English Skills

• Proven expertise in enterprise architecture, large-scale distributed systems, and cloud-native design patterns.

• Deep knowledge of multi-cloud strategies, with extensive hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Strong background in security architectures, including Zero Trust, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and data encryption strategies.

• Proficiency in high-performance computing, large-scale data processing, and real-time streaming architectures.

• Hands-on experience with programming languages (Java, Python, Go, or Node.js) and software engineering best practices.

• Experience leading high-stakes technical decision-making, including trade-offs between performance, security, scalability, and cost.

• Strong background in DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD automation, and software-defined infrastructure.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Nice to Have:

• Expertise in AI/ML architectures, including MLOps and Generative AI integration.

• Experience in Edge Computing, Digital Twins, and Industrial IoT for mission-critical environments.

• Background in highly regulated industries such as energy, finance, or healthcare.

• Active contributions to open-source projects, technical publications, or research in distributed systems and AI.

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
