As a DevOps Engineer you will play an important role in the Digital Transformation of RHI Magnesita, being a key individual to support the development of the technical solutions. You support main initiatives, being part of the Digital & Cloud Solution Delivery department. Work in alignment with rest of the teams and other IT areas, following corporate standards with full autonomy to challenge and purpose new ideas, keeping all activities well documented.
Your tasks will include:
- Support with technical expertise the teams in building a DevOps development cycle and deploying/maintain their infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
- Partner with architects, developers, and engineers spread in different countries as well as evaluate, estimate and support the system development, responding to the requirements of the business areas, always applying the market best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Keep up with best practices, software development trends and innovations
Your tasks will include:
- Work experience / field: deploying and maintenance of Cloud infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code through DevOps methodologies. Additionally, Software Development background in Web based application using agile techniques, providing innovative solutions focusing on maximizing value to the customers.

What we expect from you in terms of
Education
- Educational background: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Certificates: Azure certificates will be considered an asset
Languages
- English – Proficient/Fluent;
Work Experience
- Experience as DevOps Engineer, preferably with AWS or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless
- Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure, applications, IAM, and data analysis solutions
- Scripting experience
- Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Experience with IaC, automation tools, Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates or Chef
- Capability to understand business needs and interact with other teams to provide support for the day-by-day activities.
- Familiarity with working remotely, collaborating with teams working in different time zones
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with software development, .NET Core, JavaScript, Node JS, RESTful APIs, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools like Active Directory, Power Automate, Power BI, Intune, Office 365, etc.
- Experience with databases: SQL and NoSQL. Any experience with Low Code tools development will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge using modern Web UI technologies – Angular JS, HTML5, React, CSS3 & Angular.
