OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

The Project Manager 2 is responsible for planning and overseeing projects for the technical systems, software, and hardware solutions for Acumen. The Project Manager will develop project plans and ensure projects are completed on time and meet internal and external contractual expectations. In addition, the Project Manager will be the subject matter expert of all technical systems and will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

 

  • Responsible for the execution, delivery, communication, and quality of assigned projects and implementations for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Become an expert on Acumen and DCI (Direct Care Innovations) systems
  • Assistance with testing and acceptance of software and solutions
  • Manage internal technical projects via project management, business analysis, documentation, and training
  • Coordinate internal resources to complete projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Identify, manage, and remediate issues and risks throughout the project implementation
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders on technical capabilities
  • Proactively identify inefficient processes that could be enhanced through technical solutions
  • Performs other job-related duties as requested

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

  • Project management, business analysis and associated tools
  • Implementation planning and execution
  • Proficient training skills for stakeholders of all knowledge and skill levels
  • Workflow and process modeling
  • Proficient with MS Office especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. MS Project experience a plus
  • Proficient with Google for Business including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Sites
  • Proficient with GoTo Meeting and GoTo Training
  • Proficient with Slack

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in software and IT related projects
  • 3-5 years’ experience in project management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technology related field
  • Experience working with users defining current processes and mapping those to available solutions
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems as well as document solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, coordinate multiple duties simultaneously Experience using Project Management Software (MS Project/SmartSheet/JIRA)
