Position Overview
SAVii is looking for a candidate who is ready to hustle, join a thriving culture, and have a sense of flexibility that comes with being part of a growing company. As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst in a fast-growing fintech company backed by leading Venture Capital firms in Southeast Asia, this role is critical not only for conventional recording and reconciliation processes but also plays a vital role in the analysis and management reporting that will provide valuable insights about the business. The role will be working closely with the corporate finance and audit control departments in fostering accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, increasing controls and compliance awareness within SAVii group.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform journal entries and review of balance sheet and profit and loss as neededWork and collaborate with corporate and strategic finance teams in the reporting and analysis of financial statements and its transactionsTake proactive approach in month-end and quarter-end procedures to make sure closing processes are accurate and timely deliveredWork closely with the audit team to complete annual external audit and tax filingsPerforming various research and financial analysis to assist in identification of potential accounting issues or as may be required by leadershipMaintain accurate and complete financial records, schedules and including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to bank transactionsExpert knowledge of all financial data sources within the business and ability to effectively utilize these data sources for reporting purposesIdentify process improvement opportunities and leading process improvement efforts to increase accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial reportingParticipating in ad hoc projects and performing other related duties as assignedQualificationsMust be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 3 years of relevant experience in financial and management reportingExpert knowledge of finance and accounting principles, general business practices and financial statements techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skills for various levels throughout the organizationAbility to manage a fluctuating workload and tight deadlines by working extended hours during critical time periodsHighly organized and sharp detail-oriented and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
