Location: Brighton Head Office

Salary: up to £33.57

To teach the Maths module ‘Digital SAT Maths’ online to High School students aged 16 – 18 in the Middle East. The Maths module will prepare students for the North American College Board Digital SAT Maths test.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Planning and preparing digital online lessons in line with SGDL expectations, using appropriate teaching methods and resources.
Assisting in the development of modules from existing module specifications.
Providing feedback and direction to students in self-study and assessment preparation tasks.
Preparing module examinations and other forms of formative assessment, marking, and providing quality feedback to students.
Assisting with the development and maintenance of the virtual learning environment (VLE).
Providing input for related modules to the annual review and reporting process.
Reviewing your own professional development and identifying any training needs.
Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of student attendance.
Providing continual feedback on student performance and participation.
Providing, when/if required, academic learning support to a small number of students.
Participating in regular meetings with both teaching and support staff.
Supporting with any other tasks or activities to support digital students learning, experience, or progression needs as set by the Digital Academic Programme Lead.

ABOUT YOU

A degree or equivalent in a related subject area. (essential)
A recognised teaching qualification. (desirable)
Fluent spoken and written English. (essential)
Teaching experience, delivering Mathematics programmes within a Further Education or High School context. (essential)
Teaching experience in digital online programmes (desirable)
Experience of working with international students desirable)
