Job Title: Business Development Assistant (Inside Sales)
We are seeking a high-performing, top-tier Business Development Assistant (BDA) with excellent English skills to support our sales processes and communicate with clients in Australia via phone and email. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can enhance and refine sales processes while also acting as a fixer when necessary.
Our company is an industry leader in outdoor trip hazard inspections, reports, and repairs. While we leverage automation and AI in our sales processes, we require a detail-oriented sales professional to execute critical tasks and drive new business opportunities.
The primary objective of this role is to assist in acquiring new clients for a free trip hazard inspection and report, while also helping to secure approvals for paid repair services to generate revenue.
Identify and research new prospects using tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Surfe.
Verify prospects in our CRM (Pipedrive) and add relevant leads.
Analyze mapping software to assess the size and fit of potential sites.
Conduct email and phone outreach to new prospects, offering a free trip hazard inspection and report.
Monitor and adjust outreach strategy for deliverability and effectiveness.
Qualify leads and transition them to the Business Development Manager (BDR) at the appropriate stage.
Move deals forward by securing commitments for inspections and identifying non-viable leads.
Send proposals for paid trip hazard repairs and respond to client inquiries.
Assess responses and take appropriate follow-up actions.
Ensure deals progress toward closing by securing approvals for paid services.
Schedule and coordinate inspections with field inspectors.
Provide inspectors with all necessary information to ensure seamless execution.
Set up approved paid trip hazard repair jobs and ensure smooth handovers to repair crews.
Anticipate potential issues and ensure repair teams have all required details for successful job completion.
Maintain high standards in all sales activities and client interactions.
Ensure CRM records and sales activities are consistently updated and accurate.
Manage client feedback and follow processes to handle both positive and negative reviews effectively.
Work with subcontractors (e.g., for linemarking services) to obtain quotes.
Ensure prompt turnaround times and format quotes correctly before sending them to clients.
Exceptional English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Experience in inside sales, business development, or client relationship management
Ability to cold call and email prospects with confidence and professionalism
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to improve sales processes
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Experience using CRM software (Pipedrive preferred)
Familiarity with lead generation tools (Apollo, ZoomInfo, Surfe) is a plus
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
