The impact you’ll make:

We're looking for an impact-driven Senior Software Engineer to help us build, maintain and support the Mosh platform and products, and newly developed sister brand, Moshy. You’ll get to solve interesting problems that put your critical/creative thinking to good use. Driven by your passion and commitment to outputting high-quality code, you’ll work collaboratively with others to build the best user experiences.

Things you’ll do:

Driven by your passion and commitment to outputting high-quality code, you’ll work collaboratively with others to build the best user experiences. On a day to day basis you’ll also:

• Build the core of the Mosh platform to help us keep our promise of an amazing delivery experience as the business grows.

• Contribute to the design evolution of the platform so that it continues to be easy to understand, easy to change and reliable.
• Partner with Mosh’s Design and Product team - a group of super-smart humans who love solving complex problems for customers.
• You will fundamentally shape the engineering team’s vibe. Open feedback, good communication, and bias for action are a must.

• Help us build a high performance engineering culture based on trust, transparency and autonomy.
• The majority of your work will be hands-on coding as a Full Stack Engineer, with a wide range of tasks from building new features, to setting up our CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.

Experience you’ll bring:

We’re looking for someone who can get stuff done and brings a proactive, positive attitude to whatever they do. If this and the below sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

• 5+ years Software Development experience
• We’re looking for polyglot engineers having experience across multiple technologies, T-shaped engineers, with a major in Front End technologies for this role. Our current stack includes Ruby on Rails, Java, React, React native and vue.js. In the medium term React and Rails will be the core focus for this role, hence we are looking for someone proficient at least in React, with ideally a good experience in Rails or another back end technology
• Hands-on DevOps experience with AWS or GCP,  observability solutions like DataDog and CI/CD pipelines is a big plus
• Solid experience with automated testing and improving testing strategies in an environment aiming (if not succeeding) to achieve Continuous Deployment
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies (Kanban/Scrum), but more importantly a bias towards delivering value as early and as often as possible
• Experience at a Startup company
