This role manages implementation and maintenance of designated programs. Plans, develops and maintains systems and procedures. Liaison between department and outside communities. Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. Participates in budgetary process.

Electronic Newsletter Program Management includes copywriting/editing targeted content, the coordination and tracking of progress of multiple newsletters and deadlines, updating all required Microsoft Excel databases as needed for inventory management and informing all advertising stakeholders of current progress. Knowledge of G4 analytics and a greater understanding of targeted advertising metric tracking is preferred.
Content Licensing Program management includes database management and tracking for all requests for CCJM content. This also includes appraising each request on its own merit and whether permission should be granted, along with making an assessment for the fee. Interdepartmental communication with Finance and Medical Art & Photo is required due to the tracking and creation of each individual invoice per request, along with assessment of rights holders within CCF. Employee may be required to annually update any terms and conditions of the use of CCJM licensed content.
Mailing Program management. This program cascades from United State Postal Service Business Customer Gateway. Within this program are the creation of incentive programs based on both digital delivery and tactile-based sensory programs (to assist with disabled readers). These programs gain underlying percentage points for CCJM budgetary processes. Additionally, management of CCJM permits is required and postal statements need to be obtained and verified for budgetary purposes, both within the department and with our contracted printer.
Editorial and Design Contributions/Coaching. Employee is required to assist on copywriting/editing CCJM print issues or using InDesign to correct templates or character sheets for the main/supplemental issues. It is expected that monthly the employee will be adjusting covers and images for web use in PhotoShop, which is required.
CME Course/Question Digitization. Once a month, while working with the editorial staff, employee will be expected to perform data entry of all aspects of the month’s (sometimes multiple) CME course for our readers. This requires basic knowledge of HTML to use in MS Dreamweaver, as well as working knowledge of the MyCME website as well. Strong ability for cross-departmental communication is preferred because CME editorial staff exists in multiple silos.
Publishers statement/Brand Audit. Twice a year for the publisher’s statements, and once per year for the Brand Audit, employee is expected to aggregate all pertinent data sets to complete these actions to validate our Journal’s performance for advertising stakeholders. These include Business Analysis documents for occupational targeting, geographic data sets, age of source data, market coverages, qualified non-paid subscriptions, personal subscription lists, interdepartmental subscription lists, quantifiable electronic newsletter delivery data points. Once all data is uploaded and input, employee must manage the audit communications between our listing house and our brand auditors. Knowledge of MS Excel is required. Photoshop abilities are preferred for document design.
Subscription changes/additions/subtractions. Employee is responsible for any subscription additions or subtractions from both the CCJM voicemail box and the general CCJM administration email account; this is an everyday activity. Any changes to address, or status of employment from requestors would need to be triaged to the AMA. Additionally, from time to time, employee will also have to gracefully speak with the public to assure them that CCJM is not a substitution for visiting their doctor’s office.
