What makes you a great fit

Experience:

7+ years in full-stack development with a proven record of delivery.
Strong ownership skills with the ability to manage tasks end-to-end.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python and React.
Solid experience with databases and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, MQTT, RabbitMQ).
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and RESTful architectures.
Experience designing and implementing scalable, ad-hoc distributed systems.
Familiarity with client-server architecture, high-volume messaging protocols, and data modeling/storage.
Experience with video-based applications (WebRTC, RTSP, video codecs).
Understanding of mobile/responsive design and UI/UX best practices.
Awareness of system-level aspects (hardware, communications, and security).

Advantages:

Experience with Go.
Familiarity with map-based applications and geospatial technologies (GIS systems, ArcGIS, Cesium, MapBox).

Your day-to-day in this position

Develop, deploy, and maintain both backend and frontend components of our command and control system.
Design and implement scalable, ad-hoc distributed systems that integrate hardware and software components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from radars, cameras, and drones.
Create and enhance interactive mapping solutions for telemetry and video feeds.
Automate system responses based on sensor inputs (e.g., trigger a drone when movement is detected).
Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across various deployment environments (on-premises, edge, or cloud).
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in system architecture and development processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and state-of-the-art tools to drive innovation.
