Germany’s leading doctor on-demand platform is looking for an Engineering Manager for the Patient Growth Team to drive the ambitious growth and retention of its patient base. Join us in establishing the most-loved digital health platform in the German healthcare system by driving growth-focused engineering projects that enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Mission of the role:

Leadership: Lead and inspire your engineering team working on our React & Django-based web application, fostering a positive work environment and providing mentorship
Engineering Performance: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues promptly with the use of DORA-Metrics.
Engineering Strategy: Contribute to shaping the company-wide engineering strategy with fellow Engineering Managers and our CTO, ensuring alignment with overall goals and growth targets.
Growth Strategy: Partner with the Head of Growth to achieve the team's targets in growing the patient base and treatments, leveraging your technical and leadership skills.
Security & Compliance: Ensure security and compliance, adhering to industry standards, regulations and best practices to protect patient data.
Technical Excellence: Provide technical guidance, support problem-solving, and stay updated on industry trends.
Product Delivery: Collaborate with Product Manager on executing sprint goals, allocate resources, and enable rapid experimentation and scalability.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate the translation of goals and requirements among stakeholders, support prioritization, and proactively contribute to roadmap development across Product, Design, Engineering, and other teams.

Candidate Profile

Leadership: Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
Problem Solving Approach: Proactive problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of the technical aspects of the teams environments (React & Django), enabling effective guidance & decision making.
Innovation: Passion to utilize cutting edge technologies to provide the best customer experience possible.
Language: Professional proficiency in spoken & written English.
Bonus: Experience in System Architecture Design.
