YOUR IMPACT
In the role of product Designer for our Financial Automation solutions you will focus on designer experiences for our users that amplify the usability and efficiency of our Financial Automation solutions to support our product and business growth. These are the tools that are used by accounting professionals in large multinational corporations to close the books in the record to report process. We believe Product Designers are critical to creating business solutions that will elevate the users from the day to day drudgery and into value added work. The following attributes are key to excel in this role:
User focused: able to bridge the design gaps in business solutions through user feedback, experimentation, and by working directly with the product teams as we prepare features.
Team oriented: in today's highly complex business environment the designer will need to build strong relationships with many both inside and outside the organization and be able to pull different views together to create a cohesive solution.
Strong Execution: This entails leading your team with fast-paced execution, using user research and business objectives to inform decisions, learning from new information and adjusting accordingly, communicating and managing relationships with stakeholders.
You will be responsible for: Delivering products that simply work.
Conduct research, dive into the details of the product and prepare prototypes.
Create innovative products that not only look great, but are user-friendly
Ensure that the products meet the buyer and the user expectations by considering their needs and preferences
Incorporate latest trends and innovations into product design work to make it more efficient and effective
Redefine the aesthetics to suit the styles of the target audiences
Translate research into ideas and turn them further into products as an innovative product designer
Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to ensure you understand their problems.
Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and improve product capabilities.
Help teams and organizations communicate/collaborate effectively by setting a personal example.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
Experience in product design
Experience working on Finance Automation UX, with record to report experience being preferred.
Demonstrated Product Design Skills including:
Experience working with customers and engineering teams
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Knowledge of the use and approach for the various design techniques and tools
Clear understanding of the Agile Development processes.
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Demonstrated leadership and people skills including:
Industry experience / working knowledge in finance automation.
Sharp analytical and quantitative skills while the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in building and launching innovative and user-friendly products
