Raytheon Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is anticipating an opportunity for a Sr. Principal Engineer to support F-15 program in reliability/FRACAS assignments.

What You Will Do

  • Chair F-15 Programs Failure Review Boards   
  • Perform FRACAS (Failure Reporting and Corrective Action Process) for various F-15 programs
  • Query daily failure data, Field Rep and LOB data reports
  • Ensure that all failure data is entered into the F-15 FRACAS database
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the F-15 FRACAS database
  • Manage any needed part Failure Analyses
  • Collect and store failed parts
  • Perform Trend analyses on failed parts
  • Support Parts Management requests for Lifetime Buys on obsolete parts
  • Metrics tracking to ensure appropriate and accurate
  • Failure Diagnostics and Data/Trend Analysis

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Experiences in chairing Failure Review Board (FRB), Corrective Action Board (CAB), Change Control Board (CCB) and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Systems Engineering, Reliability Engineering, program Quality Engineering or other similar Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Airborne Radars
  • Active DOD SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Participation in FRB and FRACAS team to support failure investigation efforts.
  • Experiences in conducting or participating in RCCA
  • Experiences in sustainment/depot support
  • Experiences in Cost Account Manager (CAM), EAC/ETC, and BOE
  • Strong teamwork skills – Ability to interact productively with other Reliability/FRACAS/Quality Engineers and customers in a diverse team setting.
  • Work independently to develop timely and effective solutions to technical problems of various scope and complexity.
  • General knowledge of Performance Based Logistics, Contractor Logistics Support practices and policies, and Repair of Repairable techniques.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
