A Content and Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing content and digital marketing programs to advance awareness and lead generation goals for the Truven business. This position is responsible for 1) developing campaign and enablement assets for use by marketing and sales, aligned to key target personas; 2) promoting key messages through proper earned, owned, and paid media channels; and 3) evaluating and drawing insights from digital analytics to optimize web and digital presence.Key Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes
Campaigns and Enablement: Develop and optimize assets for use by sales and marketing.
Create programs rooted in compelling end-to-end buyer journeys on web and digital properties, optimizing messages and tactics to buyer needs.
Create assets supporting sales-led activity to achieve Truven signings and renewal rate targets.
Lead thought leadership across Truven portfolio, partnering with key SMEs to understand latest trends and apply them to marketing programs.
Create compelling customer references for your product(s), aligned to key themes.
Partner with marketing, product management, sales, and executive leadership to refine and optimize campaigns based on internal and external factors (ex: business needs, market drivers, content performance, etc).
Promotion: Managing earned, owned, and paid media channels.
Earned Media: Support Communications on media outreach strategy, including subject matter expert engagement.
Owned Media: Responsible for management of all owned communication channels, including social media, website, email, etc.
Paid Media: Support Web and Digital Experience by developing compelling messaging for use in paid media channels (advertising, paid search, programmatic search).
Web and Digital Analytics: Understanding and applying insights from web and digital metrics to improve campaign performance.
Apply SEO/SEM best practices in content developed for web channels
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Microsoft Clarity) to understand and optimize digital customer journeys.
