SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst within Avetta’s Financial Planning & Analysis team will play a pivotal role in delivering intelligence on key top-line metrics, ensuring insights flow across the organization, telling stories with data analysis, influencing strategic decision-making, and advancing planning and forecasting.

This role is a key link between global Finance, Billing, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, and Leadership teams, and is on the forefront of financial performance. As part of the team, you’ll leverage data to deliver insights into the business and build systematic processes needed to boost efficiency and effectiveness of data-driven assumptions in planning. If you reside within 30 miles of an Avetta office, you will follow a hybrid work schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advance insights on vital business metrics (e.g., gross and net retention rates, pipeline, churn)
• Develop and sustain dashboards, reports, and analyses to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify and communicate business trends, gaps, opportunities, root cause drivers, and storyline to leadership
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic long-range planning for cash billings, revenue, and KPIs
• Provide insightful variance analysis to contribute to Executive Management and Board of Directors reporting
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to understand and enhance system data flows, reporting processes, and analytics
• Conduct financial analysis for various strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests, such as pricing models, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess risks and potential outcomes

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Revenue Operations, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets (experience with Snowflake a plus)
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Familiarity with SaaS business and revenue model a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to various audiences
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment

IDEAL EDUCATION & TRAINING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field

At Avetta, we are committed to salary transparency to ensure equitable hiring practices and promote trust. The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $150,000 per year, with a potential bonus.
