Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Application

Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the Engineering Lead, Enterprise Applications, we are seeking a versatile Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Applications with a passion for applications and a desire to be a driving force in leading, implementing and managing technical integrations across the business. This role will support the delivery of MANSCAPED® Enterprise Technology Roadmap through implementation and customization of our enterprise systems. In addition, this role will work to identify opportunities for improvement, help drive process definition and deployment and foster an environment of high performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Implement custom integrations between MANSCAPED® internal enterprise systems and third-party services, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow within the team's ecosystem. Leverage Node.js, TypeScript, Azure Data Factory, SQL, and modern cloud technologies (Azure, GCP) to enhance efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints 
• Design, build, and implement data pipelines for processing large datasets into and out of the MANSCAPED® ecosystem, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and performance
• Experience with Python and PowerShell Script is required
• Develop, maintain, and enhance microservices using NestJS and TypeScript, supporting the company’s event-driven architecture and microservices-based ecosystem
• Write efficient, maintainable, and clear code that adheres to best practices and promotes ease of collaboration across the team
• Perform thorough testing of all code before delivering it to the QA team, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with the QA team to validate code quality ensuring high-quality code by participating in testing processes, identifying potential issues, and proactively addressing defects to maintain system reliability and performance
• Work closely with the Product team to understand technical and functional requirements, translating business needs into scalable software solutions 
• Monitor and maintain code and services in production, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize performance and improve system reliability
• Mentor and support junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting growth within the team
• Create and maintain documentation for systems as they are built, ensuring future development is streamlined and well-informed
• Take ownership of additional tasks as needed across the entire development stack to support team and company goals
• Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience writing production-level code, demonstrating expertise in building scalable and reliable systems 
• Strong SQL Server expertise, including schema design, stored procedures, and data pipelines 
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and managing data ingestion and extraction 
• Proven experience building integrations between internal enterprise systems and third-party services, ensuring efficient data flow and seamless connectivity 
• Demonstrated expertise in building backend systems, including APIs, services, and infrastructure
• Strong background in event-driven architecture and microservices design 
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, with backend experience in Express and NestJS 
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, with experience in Azure or Google Cloud preferred (other platforms also considered) 
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Experience working and collaborating with globally distributed team is required 
• Experience with unit testing using Jest, ensuring robust and reliable application code 
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP ecosystems  
• Expertise in designing and implementing monitoring and observability solutions to ensure system health and performance 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
