Who are you?
We're seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Operations team in building and maintaining scalable, reliable systems that surgeries around the world rely on. Lead operational management and infrastructure services for our core product. Partner with development teams to optimize service delivery, orchestrate service scaling based on capacity metrics and drive continuous improvement by leveraging system telemetry to make data-informed decisions. The ideal candidate has extensive DevOps experience, with a strong background in managing production environments and leading teams. They are a self-starter who takes ownership, excels in service composition and orchestration using Kubernetes, has expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and is willing to participate in on-call rotations while collaborating across different time zones, bringing valuable experience from both startups and regulated environments.
What will you do?
You will manage and mentor a global team of 4-5 DevOps engineers
You will own the operational lifecycle of our core product including build, release management and production monitoring.
You will establish and maintain comprehensive runbooks and technical documentation
You work closely with development teams to establish and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical systems and services.
You will collaborate with internal teams to align DevOps initiatives with broader organizational goals
You will establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines
You will eliminate toil by spearheading infrastructure automation initiatives.
You will manage infrastructure costs and resource allocation
You will manage on-call rotations and escalations, assume role of incident manager during critical outages.
What skills and experience do we expect you to have?
You have 5+ years of DevOps experience managing production environments.
You have 2+ years of team management experience.
You possess deep expertise in service composition and orchestration using Kubernetes or a similar container orchestrator.
You possess expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.
You have experience managing enterprise applications in production with a global footprint.
You have experience establishing system and performance metric dashboards from a variety of data sources.
You have a proven track record in both brownfield and greenfield implementations.
You possess a strong knowledge of cloud platforms.
You have expertise in CI/CD tools.
You have experience in effectively collaborating and communicating with teams across different time zones.
Nice to Have:
A background in software development is highly beneficial, enabling you to understand and align with the development team's needs and processes.
Experience in a startup environment, where agility and rapid iteration are essential.
Familiarity with working in regulated industries, understanding compliance requirements and best practices.

At Movemedical, your base pay is part of a comprehensive total compensation package. The expected salary range for this position is $150,000-$170,000 USD, varying based on your experience and qualifications.
