ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a foundational member of our marketing team and will serve as the initial point of contact for all inbound and outbound leads. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. This role is instrumental in identifying opportunities, engaging prospective customers, and driving the growth of our business. You will contribute to the expansion of our customer base, ensuring the success of our sales and business strategies.  This position will report to the VP of Marketing. 


RESPONSIBLITIES:

The right candidate will: 

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to create an outreach strategy into target markets
  • Conduct research to discover prospect contacts and use outreach strategies to generate interest
  • Build rapport with prospects through calls, emails, and social media engagement to understand their needs and align them with our solutions
  • Qualify leads developed through outbound efforts or inbound inquiries against BANT criteria and hand off qualified opportunities, contributing to sales pipeline success
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM software, and provide insights to help improve outreach efforts.
  • Keep up with industry trends and competitor offerings to refine outreach strategies and highlight competitive advantages.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of lead generation strategies and sales processes.
  • Ability to quality candidates based on BANT.
  • 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and prospecting platforms, including Salesforce and Gong.
  • Revenue-driven mindset, ensuring outreach and lead qualification deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
