This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Work Schedule: This would be 20 hours a week.
A few hours a day.
Mon- Friday between 10am-5pm

Job Description

Are you a visual storyteller with a knack for creating scroll-stopping content? We’re seeking a talented Graphic Designer / Social Media Specialist to join our innovative team. In this dual-role position, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles, designing eye-catching graphics while also crafting and managing engaging social media content. You’ll be at the forefront of visual trends, working across multiple platforms to bring brands to life in the digital space. Responsibilities
  • Create stunning graphics using Canva and vector design tools, tailoring visuals to each client’s unique brand identity and campaign needs
  • Design a wide range of visual content for various social media platforms, ensuring each piece is optimized for its intended channel
  • Develop and manage comprehensive social media content calendars, balancing creativity with strategic planning
  • Utilize social media management tools like Hootsuite or MailChimp to schedule and distribute content effectively across platforms
  • Stay ahead of design trends and social media best practices, incorporating innovative ideas into your work
  • Collaborate closely with the project management team to align visual content with overall marketing strategies
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach
  • Balance multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring high-quality output across all client accounts
Requirements
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative skills
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, particularly Canva and vector graphics software
  • Hands-on experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, MailChimp) and content creation for major social networks
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends, best practices, and platform-specific requirements
  • Excellent eye for design with the ability to adapt to various brand styles and guidelines
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Analytical mindset to interpret social media metrics and apply insights to future strategies
  • Ability to work part-time (20 hours per week) in the Pacific Standard Time zone
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field is preferred but not required if you have a strong portfolio and relevant experience
