THE OPPORTUNITY:

This remote opportunity is an existing vacancy open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States or Canada. 

As the Manager of Customer Solutions Consulting, your mission is to support optimization of the customer journey by enabling Customer Experience teams and individuals to focus on the customer, helping customers realize the value of their new software, maximizing engagement, and ensuring the ultimate customer experience throughout their VelocityEHS journey.


The VelocityEHS Customer Solutions Consulting team is a key member of the Customer Experience Enablement team, serving as a trusted customer advocate and subject matter expert. Consultants on your team act as the connecting bridge across Customer Experience, Sales, Product and R&D teams, and also support the VelocityEHS ecosystem of service partners. Customer Solutions Consultants are strategic problem solvers focused on liaising with teams and modeling collaborative excellence with keen interpersonal savviness and subject matter expertise in VelocityEHS solutions.


In the Manager role, your goal is to enable this team to help champion outcomes throughout the customer journey. The value this role brings to the organization is a reduction in customer friction and high engagement in cross-functional initiatives requiring subject matter expertise. Advanced cross-functional collaboration, problem solving and communication are an expectation. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to empathize with customers. Experience maintaining a high level of activity, managing multiple people, teams, and initiatives, and working effectively in a team environment is crucial.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage goal setting and performance of employees on single team
  • Use metrics to improve quality and efficiency of team
  • Recruit and hire new employees
  • Mentor others within same or lower-ranking role
  • Manage intern program
  • Own multiple internal processes
  • Participate in business planning activities
  • Acquire, maintain, and organize qualitative and quantitative data from stakeholders and use it to improve/create better products & services

Minimum Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area or equivalent
  • 5+ Years experience in SaaS industry and/or Environment, Health and Safety industry
  • 2+ Years experience people management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Quantitative analysis skills
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Related certifications in SaaS or software
  • Related certifications in EHS or ESG
  • Experience in customer enablement and operations (e.g. customer advocacy, product operations)
  • Progressive experience in people management and leadership
  • 3+ years people management in SaaS industry

VelocityEHS is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices by offering market-based salary ranges. The expected salary range for this position is between $106,250 and $149,200 USD (United States) or $102,100 and $134,800 CAD (Canada). We aim to hire between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range and offers at the maximum of the range are uncommon. The final offered salary will be based on candidate’s proficiency in skill set, prior relevant experience, internal equity, market considerations, and other factors. This role is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
