Senior Information Systems Manager at Unifin, Inc

Overview: We are looking for a visionary Senior Information Systems Manager with expertise in Project Management, MSSQL and Software Development to lead our MIS and Dev Team. This role involves managing complex projects, sourcing and managing a skilled team of MIS analysts and software developers, and driving innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a global team of MIS and Dev professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables, adherence to timelines, and strategic alignment with business goals.
• Spearhead and oversee the development and implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning projects, from conception through deployment.
• Source, hire, and mentor a diverse team of developers and technical experts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement strategies for digital transformation, particularly through the integration of various technologies to enhance business processes.
• Conduct regular audits of business processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that support both traditional IT and advanced projects, aligning with company objectives and project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, create detailed plans, and manage projects focused on data-driven solutions.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and oversee the procurement of various tools and solutions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high quality.
• Prepare and present regular status reports and project updates to executive stakeholders, demonstrating the business value and progress of initiatives.
• Enhance client reporting and operational systems using BI insights to improve decision-making and business outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management.
• Demonstrated ability to source, hire, lead, and mentor technical teams globally, particularly in software development, data handling and MIS.
• Proficient in machine learning frameworks and tools, with hands-on experience in deploying AI solutions.
• Strong analytical, risk-assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Windows and Mac OS environments, Active Directory, and network management.
• Knowledgeable in programming and database languages such as Java, SQL, Python; and tools like PowerBi, MSSql.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with fluency in English. Speaking in Urdu would be very beneficial.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
