Our Team
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to assist in the management of infrastructure risk on our waterways.
You will be providing technical expertise, taking charge of our M&E Safety forum and practices, assisting and providing back-up to the Principal Engineer and Regional Senior M&E Engineers as and when required and using your experience and knowledge to assist in the development and usage of our new Trust CMMS. This role will primarily be Northeast / West focused but on occasion may require you to assist in other regions. The role will require the holder to be part of an on-call system; currently one week in seven. The role does not currently include Line Management but could grow in-time to taking charge of the Northwest/East MEICA delivery Teams.

You will be joining us at exciting time as we are currently developing a new asset strategy approach to prioritising priority projects and priority works. Joining our talented team, you’ll help continue to build on the strong foundations of work completed to date and take on unique and interesting challenges of our M&E portfolio and associated projects.
Location & coverage
Our Senior M&E Engineer role will be offered on a remote working basis but travel nationally will be required along with travel to hubs e.g. Leeds, or Birmingham for internal meetings. The regularity & flexibility of travel will be discussed further at interview stage.
