Regional Sales Manager - Retail

As a Regional Sales Manager in our Retail division, you’ll be part of a company with over 150 years of innovation and leadership in the industry. Whether serving supermarkets, butcher shops, bakeries, or restaurants, Bizerba’s cutting-edge solutions help businesses operate more efficiently and precisely. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of personal achievement, be comfortable with frequent travel within the Southeast region, including the states of South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana, and generate new sales leads regularly. This is an individual contributor role where the candidate will be responsible for the entire sales process and performing according to sales targets.
Your tasks
- Promote, maintain, and increase sales for retail hardware, software and services by identifying opportunities and delivering solutions to meet customer needs.
- Efficiently and effectively close sales by understanding customer requirements and positioning our products as the best solution to enhance their business succes
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities with new and existing customers through sales calls, lead follow-ups, and strategic, innovative prospecting method
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline, accurately forecasting current and future opportunities by fostering professional relationships within the designated region, to ensure sustainable growth.
- Approach opportunities through the understanding of customer needs and requirements, and objectively seek solutions where Bizerba product portfolio provides value
- Continuously educate yourself on Bizerba’s product lines and monitor competitive activity within the marketplace to stay ahead of trends and competitors.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including retail service, to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
- Leverage CRM tools to track activities, forecast opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline in alignment with company standards.
- Travel up to 50% to engage with customers, attend industry events, and drive business development
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, complemented by extensive expertise in retail hardware, software solutions, and services.
- Proven success in Territory Management, consistently driving year-over-year revenue growth.
- Skilled in presenting retail solutions, effectively demonstrating their value in addressing customer challenges and conveying complex technology concepts to non-specialist audiences.
- Strong ability to work independently, managing multiple projects with initiative, self-motivation, and efficiency.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging external customers and collaborating with internal teams.
- Proven success in cold calling, leveraging a proactive, persuasive, and persistent approach with a professional competitive drive to win.
- Results-oriented and highly motivated, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with experience in CRM software.
- Strong expertise in time management, organization, negotiation, and consultative sales, with the ability to cultivate lasting customer relationships.
- Self-assured and professionally driven, thriving under pressure in competitive environments.
