About Security Journey At Security Journey, we are on a mission to build the world’s most engaging secure code training platform. By empowering organizations with tools and education to develop secure software, we make a lasting impact on the future of cybersecurity. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SDR Manager to lead our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), driving continual improvement, optimizing performance, and contributing to our growth. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SDRs, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Set clear expectations, provide regular coaching, and support professional development.
Outbound Lead Generation (Player-Coach Role):
Actively engage in outbound lead generation, prospecting, and outreach to build and maintain a personal pipeline of opportunities.
Model best practices for SDRs by demonstrating effective prospecting techniques, call strategies, and email outreach.
Performance Optimization:
Analyze and monitor SDR performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing actionable solutions.
Develop and track KPIs to ensure the team meets and exceeds lead generation and pipeline goals.
Script Development & Training:
Write and refine call scripts, email templates, and other outreach materials to improve SDR success rates.
Conduct training sessions to ensure SDRs are equipped with the tools and skills needed to excel.
Collaboration with Marketing:
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between inbound lead generation efforts and SDR outreach strategies.
Provide feedback on campaign performance and recommend adjustments to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Reporting & Insights:
Regularly review and report on team performance, pipeline metrics, and campaign success to leadership.
Use data-driven insights to refine processes and inform decision-making.
Qualifications
Experience:
Proven track record as a high-performing SDR or experience as an SDR Manager.
Experience in managing and improving team performance through coaching, metrics, and process optimization.
Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and identify actionable insights.
Proficiency in CRM tools and outreach platforms (e.g. Hubspot, Cognism, Gong).
Leadership Qualities:
Ability to inspire and motivate a team while maintaining accountability.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Collaboration:
Proven ability to work effectively with marketing and sales teams to drive alignment and results.

This is a remote (work from home) position for candidates based in the United States. We do have an office in Apex, NC if working in an office is your jam.
