Enterprise Test Data Management - Test Engineer

Job Overview

Stralynn Consulting Services, Inc, a digital transformation niche professional services provider
is looking for "Test Engineer - Enterprise Test Data Management" as part of a large team supporting multiple applications with Federal government sector. The individual must have experience working with large enterprises / government agencies and knowledge with the latest technologies in ETDM.

Participate in activities related to management of enteprise level test data,  overall ETDM strategy, test data provisioning, develop repeatable processes for testing, privacy and security compliance, data masking and data obfuscation  requirements. The role involves technical leadership in both on-prem and cloud test data infratructure.   

Experience/Skills/Abilities 

• Ten (10 years of experience managing enterprise data management infrastructure, to include both on premises systems and cloud migration efforts
• Knowledge with configuration and administration of enterprise level data stores, ETL/ELT methods, batch and streaming data transport, and API development.
• Strong experience in test data management, including test data generation and production data obfuscation.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies to include but not limited to Oracle, SQLServer, Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL, and Azure Database services.
• Experienced with program and project management tools, such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git, JIRA, or Microsoft Project to plan, execute, and measure projects.
• Should possess hands on experience in CI/CD tools. 
• Experience in building test plan and developing test scripts  
• Technical skills in analysing performance test results and identifying the performance bottlenecks.   
• Awareness of agile methodologies, experience of having worked in agile projects   
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; mastery in English.    
• Must be a good team player and show ability and willingness to motivate and support other engineers. 
• Experience in Manual testing, Testing life cycle, API testing, system testing, Regression testing, SQL Database testing, Usability etc. 
• Experience working with enterprise level data operations for large organizations.

Education/Certifications:   

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related discipline (Masters preferred).
