As a Business Development Manager, your mission will be to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and help drive the growth of our Virtual Production services. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, staying updated on industry trends, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective sales strategies and relationship management.
Responsibilities
Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities:
Research and target potential clients and markets within the cinema, advertising, and media sectors.
Develop and implement strategies to reach untapped markets and establish new partnerships.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships:
Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients to increase business opportunities.
Understand client objectives and propose tailored ICVFX solutions to meet their specific needs.
Act as the main point of contact, ensuring clients’ expectations are managed effectively.
Sales and Lead Generation:
Generate and qualify new sales leads through cold calls, networking, industry events, and digital outreach.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase our Virtual Production services and capabilities.
Convert leads into active business opportunities, guiding clients through the sales process.
Collaborate with Internal Teams:
Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of projects post-sale.
Communicate client requirements to internal stakeholders, ensuring a smooth handoff for project delivery.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands related to virtual production and immersive content.
Conduct competitor analysis and assess customer preferences to identify business opportunities.
Reporting and Documentation:
Provide regular updates, sales forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and opportunities in a CRM system.
Networking and Brand Representation:
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and events to network with industry professionals and promote our solutions and services.
Build professional networks and establish the company as a leader in the virtual production industry.
What We Are Looking For:
2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably in the digital media, film, gaming, or technology sectors.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with clients.
Experience in VFX, post-production, or related industries is highly preferred.
Knowledge of immersive content, ICVFX, or virtual production workflows is a strong advantage.
A proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
