Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana seeks energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professionals to join its expanding team. As an organization stretching across Ohio and Indiana we have over 1000 committed and compassionate employees working in multiple impact areas.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the organization with a variety of HR functions such as employee relations, recruiting and background checks, file audits, and data entry into the HRIS system. This position handles highly confidential material and answers general inquiries in all areas of Human Resources. The Human Resources Generalist displays a high-level of decision-making and serves as a back-up for the recruiting team, benefits team and employee relations.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in HR or relevant field, Two years of experience in recruiting and/or general Human Resource, with a strong knowledge of HR Functions.
