This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 20 hours per week with potential to increase
Flexible working hours, generally between 12 PM to 8 PM (adjustable)
Remote position with regular communication with the business owner
Potential for role expansion into more advanced financial advisory duties

Responsibilities :

Set up and maintain QuickBooks Online for a new e-commerce business
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR)
Reconcile transactions from multiple sales channels (Amazon and Shopify)
Prepare financial records for year-end reporting
Handle financial aspects related to investors and incoming funds
Provide basic financial analysis and advice on improving business performance

Requirements

Experience with e-commerce bookkeeping, particularly with Shopify and Amazon
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including setup and maintenance
Understanding of AP/AR processes
Familiarity with financial reporting and year-end preparations
Knowledge of handling investor funds and safe notes is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication skills in English
