The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer within the posted range will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, education, relevant experience, and geographic location. We are seeking a Director of Facility Management to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to supporting our operations and client relationships, focusing on technical solutions and managing facility services for manufacturing clients.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing facility infrastructure, including janitorial, electrical and mechanical engineering, landscaping, HVAC maintenance, and security.
Prepare and respond to client RFPs by collaborating with ABM Korea Manufacturing sales, operations, and technical solution teams.
Oversee the creation of high-quality facility management proposals tailored to client needs.
Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating ABM’s core capabilities to secure and develop facility management opportunities.
Deliver exceptional client service by ensuring quality, responsiveness, and proactive problem resolution.
Team Leadership:
Manage and guide on-site managers hired to support signed contracts, ensuring their performance aligns with client expectations.
Address and resolve escalated issues from on-site managers to maintain service excellence.
Operational Excellence:
Review and approve vendor contracts, support sourcing initiatives, and manage third-party service providers.
Monitor and manage client budgeting processes, monthly financial reporting, and expense approvals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred but not required.
15+ years of experience in facilities management within manufacturing or industrial industries (e.g., semiconductor, automotive, EV battery).
Strong understanding of client RFP processes and proposal development.
Bi-lingual in Korean and English, with knowledge of Korean corporate culture preferred
Exceptional organizational and collaborative management skills.
Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with building systems (electrical/mechanical) and facilities operations.
Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS systems.
Ability to travel up to 30%.
