Here at Stonewater, we are looking for an M&E Business Partner to join our team of M&E Business Partners, Surveyors, and Administrators. In this role, you will contribute to deliver a high-performing service that meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. Working collaboratively, you will ensure our properties and communal areas remain safe for residents, visitors, colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing and managing M&E service and repair contracts, as well as capital works programmes. You’ll ensure full compliance with M&E legislation and policies, while maintaining high service standards. Additionally, you will identify and raise any internal or external risks that could impact the organisation. You’ll also coordinate the necessary M&E servicing, testing, audits and measure performance against set objectives and targets to ensure continued safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience of working in a risk-based environment, carrying out M&E and general risk assessments.
• Have proven experience of managing the performance of contractors and M&E trade operatives that undertake repairs and improvements to domestic and commercial properties.
• Have a good knowledge of the latest legislative British Standards and IET regulations.
• Have a good understanding of passenger lift regulations and design principles including LEIA/LOLER standards and regulations.
• Have good knowledge of fire regulations and system design principles relating to domestic and high rise (HRRB’s) fire protection and detection.
• Have good knowledge of social care alarm systems and critical care systems relating to standards and regulations, including guidance provided by TSA.
• Have a good understanding of the regulations and system design principles for electrical, security and access control systems (including door automation) and equipment.
• Have a good understanding of loT systems
• Have a good working knowledge of all relevant Health & Safety and CDM legislation.
• Have a sound understanding of building regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and M&E safety enforcement procedures, promoting understanding and importance throughout the team.
• Be able to work independently and within a team-orientated, collaborative environment.
• Have good project management skills and the ability to proficiently use relevant computer software packages.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
